Shelter Design Studios: A Glimpse into Our Akshay Residence Project

In the heart of Sriviliputur, we took on an exciting challenge with the Akshay Residence project.

📅 Year: 2020

Design Goals: This 2,396 sq. ft. plot required meticulous planning. It needed to accommodate interior designing, car parking, 4 bedrooms, a home theatre, gym, and public spaces like the living area, dining, and kitchen, all while engaging with a spacious garden on the second floor.

Design Philosophy: We aimed for a contemporary, clean, and distinctive design, veering away from traditional residential aesthetics. The project sought to balance the restoration of the site with enhancing architectural features and optimizing natural lighting.

Key Features:

- A striking double-height living area as the focal point.

- A sleek, modern staircase with a single steel girder support.

- Thoughtful use of skylights for ample natural light.

- A rich blend of materials, including wood finishes, white artistic walls, polished cement, and exposed concrete surfaces.
